Too often "simple" do-it-yourself projects become less "do" and more "due" – as in, how much money is due now that there's a hole in the wall and a professional needs to be hired?
But with the right tools, any DIY project can be as easy as it should be – even down to the wire. Rather than dealing with in-wall installation to wire indoor wall sconces or smart-home devices that control lighting, blinds and more, there's a soon-to-be released technology called Flatwire that might make things a bit easier. Flatwire is a paper-thin, flexible wiring that attaches right to the wall, then can be spackled and painted over. The wiring is virtually invisible, more cost effective than a traditional installation and almost impossible to do wrong.
