The more the merrier. Collections of new bridal gear are everywhere this season, from full-fledged trousseaus of wedding-day lingerie to bridal wardrobes for body and home

The designer/retailer collaboration debuted in early 2011 at David’s Bridal locations with Spring line featuring a dozen styles that married Wang’s ethereal aesthetic at an accessible price point ($600 to $1,400). The Fall 2011 Bridal Collection features seven new styles, such as a classic strapless ball gown with corded lace bodice and tossed tulle skirt to a modern styles featuring A-line, column and mermaid silhouettes, ranging from $600 to $1,200.
In addition, new White by Vera Wang Bridesmaid ($158 to $198) and Shoe ($58 to $98) Collections debuted in June alongside the Fall 2011 Bridal Collection.
BHLDN
BHLDN – “beholden” – is the new retail wedding line from Anthropologie parent Urban Outfitters. The line features bridal fashions ranging from wedding gowns ($1,000 to $4,000), bridesmaid dresses and party frocks ($200 to $600), headpieces and jewelry accessories, shoes and lingerie. In addition to wedding wear, the new brand features Anthropologie-y décor items, including tabletop and stationery. The online boutique plans to expand to brick-and-mortar stores in 2012.
Victoria’s Secret ‘Sexy Little Bride’ Collection
The intimates mainstay, having long offered wedding-day-themed lingerie, introduced its first wedding-focused collection this spring.
The new “Sexy Little Bride” collection features the requisite items and gifts for the bachelorette party (babydolls, tanks, hoodies, garters, perfume, lotions), the wedding day (bras, underwear, body shaping garments, wedding night lingerie) and the honeymoon (lingerie, perfume, swimwear and beach cover-ups).
