Bridal TV Bash

One Channel. Lots of shows. Our reporter gets comfortable for a week's worth of bridal programs

Last month, WE TV held its WE Go Bridal Week, a culmination of one-time wedding specials and encore presentations of their most popular bridal shows. From "Platinum Weddings," to David Tutera's hit series "My Fair Wedding," WE TV viewers had nonstop bridal action for one full week. Included in the week's lineup were three new wedding specials: "Unforgettable Wedding Venues," "Disney's Dream Weddings," and "Girl Meets Gown." If you're looking for some new and fabulous ideas for your big day, check out these specials on WE, featuring repeats through the next few months.

"Girl Meets Gown"

With a little Texas spunk, bridal planners at Stardust Celebrations in Dallas help four brides-to-be find the perfect dress for their special day. The veteran planners and owners of Stardust, Jenny Cline and Marsha French, take viewers through the ups and downs of wedding consulting, from custom-made wedding gowns to special order dresses. If you're a bride in the midst of finding your dream white dress, tune in to gain some insight into the gown search and how different designs flatter certain body shapes. One tip from Cline and French: If you have broad shoulders or are full-figured, go with a strapless gown.

"Disney's Dream Weddings"

To make a wedding truly magical, many couples choose the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla. as their perfect wedding venue. For nearly 1,500 couples each year, Disney World is the setting of their big day, and with the vast sea of resources Disney provides, from catering to cake making, flowers and gowns alike, Disney can make your wedding day a stress-free one. "Disney's Dream Weddings," hosted by David Tutera, invites viewers into the wedding planning of one couple's wedding at Walt Disney. Viewers also learn about Tutera's new couture wedding collection with Disney: Classic Elegance, Cocktail Soiree, Enchanted Garden and Simply Chic. While Disney World may seem more like a child's playground than the setting of an elegant affair, "Disney Dream Weddings" may just surprise you.

"Unforgettable Wedding Venues"

Hosted by David Tutera, "Unforgettable Wedding Venues" counts down WE TV's Top 10 places to get married. From the La Quinta Resort and Club in La Quinta, Calif, to its No. 1 location, the Oheka Castle on Long Island in Huntington, N.Y., this special will truly inspire you. Each of the Top 10 locations has some very distinct and unique features, catering to couples with all wedding themes and styles in mind. And while many of these locations may be a little out of reach for couples on a budget, couples can find some unique ideas to fit into their own day.
